ManitobaModelForest.net is an English blog created around a single topic–the Manitoba Model Forest. As people interested in and driven by the earth’s biodiversity and its protection, we started this blog to discuss a model forest close to our hearts. Incited to know what we are about? Location
The Manitoba Forest is located at 3 Walnut St., Pine Falls, MB R0E 1M0, Canada, in Manitoba. The forest contains over 15 provincial forests on about 26.3 million hectares. This equates to about 22,000 km2. But these are general facts. We go deeper into where these species of northern coniferous or boreal forest and many other species are located, how they are sparsely distributed, and some surrounding natural features or maybe even some communities around them.
Biodiversity
The biodiversity of the forest is another major topic that our blog will focus on. This includes the benefits and importance of the forest’s biodiversity, the reason it exists, its uses, and even its components. In the entire twenty-two thousand kilometers of land that is dedicated to the Manitoba Model Forest, we aim to discuss the biodiversity of the area and how it affects the surrounding elements of the forests.
Purpose
We also believe that the forest was created for a reason, or at least, protected for a reason. Our blog will go deep into the purpose of the Manitoba model and answer the questions of why it was protected, what it is used for, and some of the current uses of the place. The third aspect that our blog will cover is purpose, and hence, our blog posts will seek to answer that.

We are focused on the sustainable development of our planet, and we are mostly interested in the conservation of the forests on our land, – majorly, the Manitoba Model Forest. This blog is dedicated to the forest, and we discuss the three topics, not as expert researchers but as enthusiasts who are genuinely interested in the topic, the forest, and the sustainable development of the earth’s elements.
